Carrot Cake Protein Smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup almond milk
2 medium carrots (chopped into 2’’- long segments)
1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
2 tbsp ground flax seed
1 tsp maca powder
1/2 cup ice cubes (if your protein powder isn’t very sweet, you might want to replace with some frozen banana)
sprinkle of cinnamon
dash of nutmeg & cardamom
Method
Add almond milk and carrots into a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Use additional almond milk, ice, or frozen bananas to achieve desired consistency and sweetness.
To serve: top with your favorite granola, nut, or see for extra crunch.
