Japanese BBQ Salmon Bowls
Ingredients
Salmon & Marinade
1 lb salmon
1/4 cup Japanese BBQ Sauce (I like Bachan’s)
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp sesame oil
juice of 1 lime
Other ingredients:
1 cup of rice, uncooked
3 Persian cucumbers
squeeze of lime juice
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp tamari
1 tbsp chile crisp
your favorite cruciferous bagged salad!
Sriracha mayo (I just do a 50/50 mix of sriracha and mayo)
Avocado
Method
Cut salmon into bite-sized pieces.
Toss salmon with marinade. Let sit for 30-45 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook rice, prepare bagged salad, and slice cucumbers.
Toss cucumber with rice vinegar, tamari, chile crisp, and a squeeze of lime juice.
Place salmon in the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees for 10-13 minutes.
Option to brush additional marinade onto the salmon while it is cooking.
Serve bowls with cruciferous salad, rice, salmon, marinated cucumbers, and avocado.
